Install a Skedulo Plus product extension

How to install and configure a Skedulo Plus product extension.

Overview

This guide describes how to install and make the extension (form) available on the mobile app so the resources can start using a Skedulo Plus product extension.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an administrator.
  • The Skedulo Plus app is enabled.
  • The extensions to be installed must already be added to your team. The following extensions are currently available:
    • skedulo-extension/create-new-job
    • skedulo-extension/create-follow-up-jobs
    • skedulo-extension/self-scheduling-online
    • skedulo-extension/reschedule-job

Contact your Customer Service Representative for more information about getting this extension added.

Initial setup for reschedule-job extension

To ensure the Reschedule job extension works as expected, create a custom field in the Jobs object in the team you want to install the extension with the following fields:

Field label Reschedule Reason
Field name RescheduleReason

Make the form available on the mobile app

After your Skedulo CSR adds the extension to your team, it will be available in the Mobile extensions list in the web app admin settings. From there, you can make changes if needed or install it to make it available to resources on the Skedulo Plus mobile app.

To install an extension, do the following steps:

  1. In the web app settings, navigate to Mobile app configurations > Mobile extensions.
  2. Click on the desired extension name.
  3. Click Install. The extension will be available on the mobile app within a few minutes.
