Skedulo Plus mobile notifications

Use mobile app notifications to keep users informed of schedule updates.

Overview

Deliver schedule updates via SMS or push notifications, based on each resource’s delivery preference.

Notification templates

Administrators can customize the message text for four standard notification types: Dispatch, Remind, Canceled, and Offer. See Configure and customize push and SMS notifications for more details.

Notification settings

Administrators can configure settings to determine which events trigger notifications to resources. Navigate to Mobile app configuration > Mobile settings > Notifications to access these settings.

Send mandatory reminders for resources to start or end their jobs

When enabled, resources receive push and in-app notifications for upcoming job start and end times. These reminders are only sent if the job is not yet in progress or completed. As an administrator, you can configure one or more of the following reminder triggers:

  • At start time
  • 10 minutes before start time
  • 10 minutes after start time
  • At end time
  • 10 minutes after end time

Enable automatic resource notifications when jobs are canceled

When enabled, resources receive push notifications or SMS to inform them when their jobs are canceled.

The default value is ON.

Enable resource to change their notification delivery preference

When enabled, resources can set their notification preference, choosing between push notifications or SMS.

The default value is ON.

Enable resource notifications when their jobs are rescheduled

When enabled, resources receive alerts regarding changes to job start or end times via their preferred method (Push or SMS).

The default value is OFF.

Enable resource notifications when their one-off (un)availability requests are approved or declined

When enabled, resources are notified via Push or SMS (based on preference) when their availability or unavailability requests are approved or declined.

The default value is OFF.
