Turn on Salesforce event synchronization

Overview

This Sked package Salesforce setting adds the ability to synchronize job allocations and activities between Skedulo and Salesforce.

Event synchronization is controlled by the org preference setting SalesforceEventSynchronisation. It is bidirectional between job allocation and activity on the Skedulo side and event on the Salesforce side.

The default package setting for SalesforceEventSynchronisationis OFF (disabled).

Turn on Salesforce event synchronization

Salesforce admins can turn on the SalesforceEventSynchronisation flag via their org’s Custom Settings.

  1. In Salesforce, open Setup.

  2. Search for Custom Settings.

  3. Select Custom Settings.

  4. Locate Preferences, then click Manage.

  5. Locate SalesforceEventSynchronisation, then click Edit.

  6. Check the Set checkbox.

  7. Save the change.
